Market Update January 2024

Our January 2024 early winter market snapshot shows that we are entering the real estate market with record low inventory. Most of the single family properties you see listed here have been on the market since late 2023.

For every 1% drop in interest rates, 5 Million more people are eligible buyers who are entering the market. What does that mean for you as a Buyer or Seller? Call me, I love to discuss real estate, what I'm learning daily in the market and what's to come.

Components of Selling a Home in 2024!

Are you thinking of selling your home? Take advantage of my task list from months, weeks and days before listing. Get started and be ready:

1) Months in Advance

Over time and without rush tackle the little things in preparedness to get your home ready to list. (More detail about how to "tackle the little things" in my blog in link below.) No need to break the bank. Efficient fixes are best.

Curb appeal | Grout | Touch up paint | Door knobs | A few more in blog...

2) Getting Closer

As you approach the listing stage, but before making your home public to the open market, attend to these crucial steps:

  • Declutter - toss or donate
  • Depersonalize - store your personal things
  • Get organized - need boxes or space

  • Thoroughly clean - specifically appliances and bathrooms

It's hard to depersonalize your home. It's your home after-all.

Think like a buyer who walks through your doors and hopes to fall in love with your home - as if it's theirs. They want to envision it filled with their  furniture and their personal pictures and their items. To achieve that, reducing your personal items creates mental space for potential buyers' imagination so they can envision how their belongings will seamlessly fit.

3) Helpful Hands

Storing | Donating | Organizing | Moving | Staging

I have resources and professionals to help you handle all the progressions of a move including: handyman repairs and patching to organizing,  decluttering  and ultimately moving from your home. It takes a carefully planned out timeline, organization and energy to get it all done.  I will help you navigate all of these components, supply you with trusted vendors, and guide you each step of the way to a successful move. Together we will succeed!

Let's connect! I am here to help you from start to finish.
